FIRST DEAF MINISTRY
God is doing something new here at FBC Deaf Ministry! Our desire is to provide a place where Deaf people Belong so they can understand and Believe in the Truth of Gods Word and they can Become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
9:15 AM Deaf led Bible Study – Come be encouraged and challenged by Gods Word as we discuss the: lesson in ASL. We are studying the book of Matthew.
10:30 AM Worship Service – We provide interpreters for the worship service so that you can be an active part of the First Baptist body of believers. Every week Dr. Estep gives us an encouraging and challenging message from Gods Word. Come join us as we worship the Lord “in Spirit and in Truth.”
6:00-7:00 PM – Deaf Prayer and Share is a time where we get together for encouragement through praying for each other and digging deeper into Gods Word. God wants each of us to understand Him better. The best way to learn more about God is to learn from each other and to see what God wants to say to us directly through His Word. We are studying the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount.
Worship Wednesdays is a brand new program designed for fun, friendship and learning about what it truly means to Worship God. Children will discover that worship can come in many forms including music, art, drama and more! Parents, we haven’t forgotten about you! If you are Deaf or just want to be a part of our Deaf Ministry, join us for Deaf Prayer and Share on Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 PM in Room Lindsay 215.
