Operation Christmas Child is a GO!

It may be a little early for Santa but it’s time to start preparing for the Christmas season. The best way to kick off the celebration is to give a gift to a child across the world. It’s true, their are countless of children that don’t get anything for Christmas. That’s why it’s our joy to give gifts, and we do that through Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.

Giving a gift to a child is a fundamental way of expressing God’s love. Operation Christmas Child not only provides children with toys and school supplies but also shares the story of Jesus. That’s why it’s so important that we do our part and help buy supplies, pack shoeboxes, and get them dropped off at shipping locations.

C’mon folks! It’s time to get excited, make a plan, and take action! We’re not asking for cheerleaders we want team players. It’s time to jump aboard the biggest pre-christmas bandwagon celebration of the year and give a gift to a child who needs it. With your help we can make Christmas meaningful for millions of children because giving a gift is just one way to say I love you.

There are lots of things you can pack like toys, school supplies, and even hygiene items. First you’ll need to decide whether you will pack a box for a girl or a boy, and the age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Make sure that you print out the corresponding label and tape it to your shoebox. (Click here to download the label)
