Operation – HERE WE GO!

Are you ready for an exciting season of Operation Christmas Child? We certainly hope so! This is a church wide missions project and we need all hands on “decking the halls.”

This year our goal is to collect over 1000 shoeboxes! To accomplish this we need a full scale effort with everybody participating. We need buyers, we need packers, we need prayers, we need givers, but most importantly we need YOU! So come and join the fun. Be a part of the greatest operation leading up to Christmas.

How To Get Involved

There are lots of things you can pack like toys, school supplies, and even hygiene items. First you’ll need to decide whether you will pack a box for a girl or a boy, and the age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Make sure that you print out the corresponding label and tape it to your shoebox. (Click here to download the label)

Now that you’ve got all your supplies it’s time to have some real fun!

Grab all your supplies and join us for our FIRST Family Packing Party on Friday, Nov. 10 at 6:00 – 8:30 PM in Ellis Hall. Dinner starts at 6:00 pm and Shoebox packing at 6:30 pm. This is a great way to get in the Christmas Spirit and enjoy good company while you do it. Our goal this year is to pack 1,000 boxes!

Take your shoebox gift to a local drop-off location during National Collection Week, November 12-19. We’ve made it super easy because we are a drop off location – located at 1306 Hampton Street in Columbia.

Donate $7 online and receive a tracking label to follow your box and discover the destination of your shoebox gift. Click Here to get your tracking label.
