Mentorship Groups are how we learn to live life with Jesus and learn how to get the most out of being in spiritual community. This time is spent with someone who is a little bit ahead of you on their journey with Jesus who has walked and is walking through the same intentional process with another mentor.
Paul, shares with his disciple Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, “and the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be able to teach others.”
Jesus, when calling Peter and Andrew in Matthew 4:19 says, “follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
There is an intentional process that we need to engage in with fellow disciples who are willing to walk with us so that we can be to able walk with others as well.
Mentor groups meet weekly at designated times and are led by an Adult Leader from First College or an Upperclassman and generally both.
