Worship Service – We provide interpreters for the worship service so that you can be an active part of the First Baptist body of believers. Every week Rev. Wes Church gives us an encouraging and challenging message from Gods Word. Come join us as we worship the Lord “in Spirit and in Truth.”

Wednesday Nights – REFOCUS with us as we discuss the current Consumed readings. ASL spoken here. 🙂

firstDEAF Ministries wants to celebrate Deaf Awareness Month by sharing – fun facts about Deaf Culture and how the Deaf have influenced our everyday lives, and introduce you to some cool Deaf famous people, their art and books.

1814 – First School for the Deaf in America – 
  • Opened its door on April 15, 1817

  • Started with seven deaf pupils
  • Incorporated religious training alongside the “three R’s” (reading, writing, and arithmetic). This instruction often involved Bible study, chapel services, and prayers, reflecting a strong influence of religious organizations and the Second Great Awakening
