Women

Connecting women who grow, go, and love in Christ's name.

Our mission is to connect all women, helping them to grow in Christ, to go in the great commission, and to love in Christ’s name. We do this through weekly bible studies, regular events, service opportunities, and prayer gatherings.

And as the good news of the gospel of grace unfolds through Romans, it will compel you to proclaim God’s glorious salvation to all.

Evening Bible Studies

Monday, 6:30 PM at the home of Debbie Sims (St. Andrews’s area) – led by Katy McCrudden
Begins September 12
Summoned, a study on the book of Esther by Megan Brown, Cost: $15

Encounter the fullness of God’s grace, the power of His promises, and the beauty of His faithfulness—all through the life of one woman: Esther. In a time when the world around her seemed to crumble, a young Hebrew girl found herself in a unique position to help save her people—and to encounter the greatness of our ever-faithful God. In Summoned, you’ll enter the story of Esther—her calling, pain, and role in God’s ultimate plan for salvation—and see how God is always working in the lives of His people, even when He seems distant. You’ll develop a deeper appreciation for God’s Word and begin to see that stepping out in faith for His glory is often the first step to encountering His redeeming love.

Romans shows us the power of the gospel to bring clarity to everyday life through faith in Christ. By writing Romans, Paul provides a comprehensive overview of God’s plan for salvation and how to live within that amazing plan. In this study Bible teacher Jada Edwards explores the Apostle Paul’s expression of our faith in his letter to the Christians in Rome and what that gospel-driven faith looks like in practice: how we love people, how we make decisions, how we live in community, and how we foster unity with others.

About Saluda River Academy for the Arts

Saluda River, a Title 1 elementary school in Lexington School District Two, is located in West Columbia and has excellent, caring administrators and teachers that work in a community where 70% of the students are below the poverty level. Many of their parents work 2 and 3 minimum-wage jobs to make ends meet. We are seeking to support both the teachers and students.
