Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies is a ministry at Saluda River Academy for the Arts (SRAA). The school’s address is 1520 Duke Street, West Columbia.  You go once a week for about 45 minutes and read with children. You can choose the day, time, & grade you would like to serve from the list provided by the school. You are welcome to do more than one grade if the days and times work out. After you decide on a grade, day & time, then please email Pam Humphries that information.

Men and women are both welcome to be Reading Buddies. You are committing to reading with your students all year, but of course there will be times you won’t be able to make it (illness, dr. appointments, vacations, etc.) If this happens, we let the teacher know so they won’t be expecting you.
