Christian Youth Basketball League

Kids, we want you to be on our team! Joining a CYBL team will not only take your game to new heights, it’ll also take you further in your faith. Parents, CYBL has a devotional time before every game and the coaches use scripture to teach valuable life lessons during practices. Kids learn resilience, perseverance, self-control, humility, respect and cooperation as well as how to live their faith on and off the court.

First Baptist Church will once again field teams to participate in the Christian Youth Basketball League (CYBL). Games are played around town at area churches. Practices, however, will be held at the Columbia Fitness Club at the Estep Family Life Center, 1410 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

Practices are 1 day/week and should begin in late October or first of November. Practice days could be a Monday, Tuesday or a Thursday depending on number of teams. Coaches will contact you with a practice day and time.

2nd-3rd grades AND 6-12th grades games start the week of November 17. Grades 4-5 will start games December 6!
