Heavenly Father,
Please fill me with Your life, love and presence. Please surround me with Your peace. Please help me to see my worthiness in your eyes.
Please heal me from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Please release me from all vestiges of the past and fill me with optimism for the future. Please free me from the spirit of infirmity and suffering. I ask this now in Jesus’s holy name. Thank you for everything you are doing in my life! amen

I am requesting prayer for both my son and myself in our new jobs. I pray that God will open our minds to understanding, achieving, exceeding the goals we need to meet for our unemployment. I give thanks to God for the answered prayers of starting our new positions, and I thank all who prayed with us!

My friend and coworker Louie fell while he was at home last week during the 4th of July. Praise the Lord that he has not suffered any broken bones! He has however been moving pretty slow and is in a lot of pain. He loves to laugh and I can see how much pain he is in just from a simple giggle. He is getting advanced in years and I just pray that Jesus lay His hands upon him and provide an expeditious recovery so he can get back to enjoying quality time with his kids and grandkids. He has severe bruising up his side and I just pray that Jesus will heal him, give him some relief and provide Lou some restful nights ahead. I also pray that as Lou seeks our Lord Jesus, that He will present himself to him in the way to completely capture his attention. He has been telling me that ever since his fall, he has been praying more than ever!

I wanted to thank First Baptist Church for the many prayers during my COVID sickness. I fell ill on the last day of August 2020 and was hospitalized within 5 days. I spent 93 days in the hospital, much of that time on a ventilator and in a coma. I returned home on December 12, 2020 having lost 42 pounds and spent several months learning how to walk again and slowly regaining my speech and strength. I can say that I am fully recovered thanks to the many prayers from First Baptist and from thousands of others. My Doctor ( Dr. Todd Gandy) told me when I returned home that I was the sickest COVID patient that they treated who survived. That blessing was due to your prayers !!!! Thanks so much for thinking of me and praying me to recovery !! May god bless all of you !! Robert P.S. I recently received a note from Don Jordan with your prayer group. I was unable to find his contact information so please make sure he gets this message and shares it with everyone.
