Free Marriage Prep Course
For over 30 years, First Baptist Church of Columbia has helped couples start their marriages on a strong foundation. Prepare and Enrich is a free marriage prep course for engaged and newly married couples, designed to strengthen communication, navigate conflict, plan finances, and establish shared goals.
Before the class begins, couples complete an online assessment that highlights relational strengths and areas for growth. Through practical tools and guided conversations, this course equips couples to build a healthy, Christ-centered marriage that can last a lifetime.
Prepare & Enrich is open to engaged and newlywed couples and lasts 7 weeks, taking place here on our campus each Sunday at 9:15 am. Our next class begins Sunday, February 15.

We have been married for 43 years, and we are passionate about encouraging engaged and newlywed couples as they embark on their marriage journey, We delight in seeing couples become more committed to each other and to God, and also developing community with other couples.
We are certified in Prepare + Enrich, and we are excited to begin a new session where couples will gain insights that will help prioritize, enrich and strengthen their marriage relationships

The beauty of biblical marriage enrichment is that we all learn from each other. As one of our mentors says, “marriage is a dance and no two couples dance the same.” We have been married for 34 years and have been working with engaged and newlywed couples for 16 years.
We are certified in Prepare + Enrich and truly enjoy the energy and newness that young couples bring. We have worked with couples in both individual and group settings and we look forward to meeting you in our upcoming class.
Unless otherwise noted, classes take place on the 3rd floor of the Sanctuary.
