Class Description

Her paper arts tools, Art Deckle and Nouveau Templates are used by artists around the world. She will teach hands-on classes for anyone interested in learning techniques that add visual interest, texture and impact to paper arts. Examples of art enhanced by these techniques include: watercolor, photography, calligraphy, greeting cards, scrapbooking & more! Real (versus cut) deckled edges connote quality. Because of the manner in which paper is manufactured, it is very difficult to visually match 4 deckled edges of paper. One deckled edge such as found on stationery is lovely but disconcerting or unbalanced for other uses. Deckling reveals the paper’s inner content and richness of natural composition while adding a lovely element of design. Create a portfolio of various styles and shapes of deckle on different types of paper.
